Grease is the Enemy: Don’t pour grease or fats down the drain. Instead, let them cool and solidify, then dispose of them in the trash.
Watch Those Scraps: Be mindful of what goes down the garbage disposal. Avoid putting potato peels, fibrous vegetables, bones, or fruit pits down the drain. They can easily clog your pipes.
Give Your Disposal a Break: Run cold water for 15 seconds before and after using the disposal to help flush food particles down the drain.
